Is this product suitable to take from birth?
It is recommended infants aged 0 - 6 months are breastfeed exclusively, please consult your healthcare professional should you have any questions about your personal circumstances and use only as directed. Can this product be taken simultaneously with other vitamins/supplements?

How do I give this product to my child?
Please follow the dosage instructions on the label. For children under 5 years and those who cannot safely swallow, cut the capsule tail, and squeeze the contents onto a spoon before administering into mouth. Alternatively, the dosage can be squeezed onto food. This product should be taken with a meal.
Does this product contain vitamin D3 and can my child take extra vitamin D3 supplements?
Yes, Bio Island Milk Calcium for Kids contains vitamin D3. Is this product suitable for those with lactose intolerance or milk allergy?
Many people find the terms lactose intolerance or milk allergy confusing. While they may share similar symptoms, they are entirely different conditions. Lactose intolerance is a digestive problem, while a milk allergy involves the immune system.
Lactose intolerance occurs in both adults and children who cannot fully digest lactose, a sugar found naturally occurring in cow’s milk. The reason for this is due to a lactase deficiency, which is a natural enzyme made by your intestinal tract that digests lactose. Milk allergies are a true food allergy which causes severe reactions to particular foods triggered by your immune system. You and your child can be tested for milk allergies or lactose intolerances.
Our Milk Calcium for Kids contains calcium derived from cow’s milk and should not be consumed by people with a cow’s milk allergy or lactose intolerance. For allergen information, please refer to each product’s label or product information page.
Does this product contain gelatine?
Bio Island products use softgel capsules made from pharmaceutical grade gelatine (bovine). This ingredient is considered safe to use for oral consumption and can be easily digested.
Is this product vegan or vegetarian friendly?
This product is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians due to the presence of animal product.
Does this product contain sugar?
This product does not contain any added sugar. Please note this product contains cows’ milk which naturally contains lactose, a naturally occurring sugar found in dairy.
